General Information

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Inspirational Tea Co. is located on the Gold Coast, Australia. All orders are processed in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and include GST for Australian customers.

DO YOU HAVE A STORE?

We are an online-only store but we do offer contactless pick-up of orders from Wotso in Varsity Lakes. Choose the 'Pick Up' option during checkout; we will email you with collection details when your order is ready.

CAN I SIGN UP TO YOUR EMAIL LIST?

Absolutely, we'd love to have you! Apart from being the first to get news on new products and exclusive promotions, there's a 10% discount available for your first order.

Orders and Delivery

DO YOU OFFER SAME DAY DELIVERY?

We don't offer same day delivery.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

We ship with Australia Post and cannot guarantee the exact time your order will take to arrive. For a detailed guide check the Australia Post website here.

However we do dispatch as quickly as possible.

Orders placed before midday AEST will be shipped the same day (excluding Mondays and sales/restock peak periods).

Orders placed after midday will be shipped the next business day.

You will receive a tracking link when your order is shipped. Use this link to check on your order delivery status.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We ship with Australia Post and selected couriers.

If you spend under $100, Regular shipping is flat rate $9.95 Australia wide.

Orders valued at $100 or over are eligible for FREE Regular Shipping. 

You can upgrade your order to Express Post. Prices start at $14.95 and are calculated on weight.

Shipping rates will be displayed at Checkout. All parcels have tracking included for peace of mind.

WHERE IS MY ORDER?

To determine where your order is, find the email we sent you when the order was fulfilled, and click on the tracking code. This will take you to the website of Australia Post and you can see where your order was last scanned and the expected delivery date.

CAN I SEND DIRECTLY TO MY FRIEND/FAMILY MEMBER?

Sure you can and we encourage it because it's the easiest and quickest way to get your gift to your loved one.
At the Checkout enter their address as the Shipping address and your address as the Billing adress.
We don't include an invoice in the gift box, this is emailed to you.

CAN I SEND TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?

We are working on a more automated way for this option during the checkout process. But in the meantime, feel free to place your order and email us at hello@inspirationalteaco.com.au

DO YOU SEND OVERSEAS?

We currently ship to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and USA.

Singapore customers: we have a limited range on Amazon.

To ship elsewhere, please email us at hello@inspirationalteaco.com.au for a quote.

CAN I ADD A GIFT MESSAGE?

Of course! We'd love you to send a gift of positivi-tea or a hug in a mug to someone special.

Look out for the 'Is this a gift?' prompt in your Cart (before you Checkout).

We will hand write your gift note on our free postcard. Each order is presented in a black shipping box with tissue & branded pink kraft tape (it looks lovely!)

DO YOU SEND AN INVOICE WITH ORDERS?

No we don't. Most orders are a gift so we know how important it is to keep this sort of information secret from the person receiving the gift. 😉

DO YOU USE ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING?

We are committed to a sustainable product that treads lightly on the planet and supports ethical production practices. We are always on a journey to do more, but here is a list of the choices we've made to support our mission. 

- in our gift boxes we use paper 'bubble wrap', compostable tape and paper fill. 

- we wrap the gift boxes in compostable mailing bags to protect them from the elements and arrive looking beautiful.

- our tissue paper is compostable and printed with soy-based inks. 

- our compostable stickers are made from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy-based inks.

THIS IS A GIFT FOR MOTHER'S DAY/CHRISTMAS/BIRTHDAY. HOW DO I AVOID THEM OPENING IT TOO EARLY?

Just tell us in the Notes section in Your Cart, or reply to the email confirmation of your order and let us know. We will place a cute sticker on the box that warns them not to take a peek.

TEA AND SUSTAINABILITY

WHERE DOES YOUR TEA COME FROM?

We source 90% of our tea from a single estate, chosen carefully for it's commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices.

In 2021 we moved all our sourcing to direct from the Chota Tingrai Estate in the Tinsukia district of Assam, India. 

DO YOU USE ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING?

We are committed to a sustainable product that treads lightly on the planet and supports ethical production practices. We are always on a journey to do more, but here is a list of the choices we've made to support our mission. 

- in our gift boxes we use paper 'bubble wrap', compostable tape and paper fill.

- our compostable stickers are made from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy-based inks.

- We package our teabags in Natureflex plant-based polybags. They will  break down within 12 weeks in home compost or water.

-All of our cardboard packaging is FSC certified and fully recycleable.

WHAT ARE YOUR TEABAGS MADE FROM?

Our teabags are made from a biodegradable plant starch called NeoSoilon. NeoSoilon® is a Non-GMO woven mesh filter made from PLA resin that derived from sugarcane. 

They will break down under certain environmental conditions and degrade most quickly (within 12 weeks) when disposed of through an industrial food waste system. We therefore strongly recommend that you find out from your local council if it offers a food waste recycling collection service in your area and if so, discard them using this.

There is no plastic in our teabags.
